Cancellation & Refund Policy.
How project cancellations, refund requests and payment adjustments are handled with transparency and fairness.
At Crescent Digital Solutions, we value clear communication and fair business practices.
We understand that project requirements, business priorities and marketing budgets can change. This policy explains how requests to cancel services or obtain refunds are considered.
It applies to digital services purchased from Crescent Digital Solutions, subject to the terms of the relevant written agreement and applicable law.
01 Scope of This Policy
Our services include website design and development, SEO, AEO, GEO, performance marketing, content creation, graphic design, video editing, photo editing and other related digital services.
Because these services differ in the amount of planning, production, technical work and third-party expenditure involved, cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on the nature and stage of the engagement.
The applicable proposal, service agreement or statement of work should identify any project-specific cancellation arrangements.
02 Cancellation Before Work Begins
If you wish to cancel a project before work has commenced, please contact us as soon as possible.
The refund treatment of any advance payment will depend on the accepted agreement and any work, preparation or third-party costs already authorized or incurred.
The applicable rule should be communicated to the client before payment is made.
03 Cancellation After Work Has Started
If a cancellation request is received after project work has started, Crescent will review the request against the agreed scope and the project's actual status.
Relevant considerations may include:
- Services and deliverables already completed.
- Work in progress at the time of the request.
- Approved project milestones.
- Payments already made.
- Authorized third-party expenses.
- The cancellation provisions in the accepted agreement.
Any amount payable or refundable should be calculated according to the agreed terms and applicable law.
04 Monthly and Ongoing Services
Some services, such as SEO, AEO, GEO, performance marketing and ongoing content production, may be provided through recurring engagements.
Cancellation terms for such services depend on the accepted agreement, including the initial service term, renewal arrangements, notice requirements and any commitments already approved.
A request to discontinue an ongoing service does not automatically determine whether a payment for the current service period is refundable.
Clients should receive these terms before entering a recurring paid engagement.
05 Advertising Budgets and Third-Party Charges
Performance marketing engagements may include expenses associated with external advertising platforms or technology providers.
These expenses should be distinguished from Crescent's own professional service fees.
Amounts already charged or consumed by third-party platforms may be subject to the relevant provider's refund and billing conditions.
Any recoverable balance, applicable credit or reimbursement will depend on the payment arrangement, the third party's terms and the agreement with the client.
06 Completed Projects and Delivered Services
If you believe a completed project or delivered service does not meet the agreed requirements, please contact us with a description of the concern.
We will review the issue against the accepted scope, relevant deliverables and any documented acceptance or revision arrangements.
Depending on the circumstances and the applicable agreement, the appropriate outcome may involve a correction, further review, service adjustment or refund.
The completion of a project does not remove any statutory rights or remedies available under applicable law.
07 Digital Marketing Results
Digital marketing outcomes can be affected by factors beyond the direct control of an agency. These include search engine updates, competitor activity, advertising platform decisions, customer demand, campaign budgets and market conditions.
A particular commercial result, such as a specified search ranking, sales figure or number of leads, is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
However, a difference between projected and actual business results should be distinguished from a failure to deliver contracted services.
Requests involving an alleged service deficiency will be considered in light of the actual contractual commitments and applicable law.
08 How to Request Cancellation or a Refund

Refunds will be processed through the agreed and legally permitted payment method, subject to the payment provider's capabilities and applicable law.
Any deduction from a refund must be supported by the accepted terms and applicable law, and should be explained to the client.
10 Complaints and Disputes
If you disagree with the outcome of a cancellation or refund request, you may contact us with the relevant details and ask for a further review.
We encourage clients to raise service concerns promptly so that the project history and relevant communications can be examined.
